Our mission: Secure internet infrastructure!
The ABC (Analytics Based Cybersecurity) mission at ATHENE examines key protocols of the internet for vulnerabilities. These protocols can be manipulated to redirect data packets or trick users into mistaking fraudulent and fake websites for the originals. The results of the research can be used to gain insights into new attack methods and develop innovative procedures to prevent such cyber attacks.
Another aim of the ABC mission is to promote close cooperation with the industrial sector and the government on current research topics in the field of “internet infrastructure security”.
